Blockchain
Eighteen read-only and DeFi tools that read EVM chains, quote swaps, and build LP positions.
The Blockchain category is the server's view of an EVM chain. It has two
subcategories, and the split is the point: RPC reads a chain, DeFi plans a
trade against it. Nothing in either signs, sends, or moves funds.
RPC
Nine read-only JSON-RPC tools — block, balance, gas, receipt, and contract-source
lookups. Every one of them takes a chain slug (ethereum, base,
robinhood, base-sepolia) rather than a numeric chain id. The slugs come from
packages/chains, the one registry in the stack that defines a chain id, so a
tool that accepts an id you have not heard of answers with a validation error
rather than a request to a chain that does not exist.
DeFi
Nine Uniswap API tools: a quote, an approval check, the swappable-token set, swap
calldata, four LP position builders, and a token price. get_swap_quote is the
one an agent calls before every swap — it returns the route, the gas estimate, and,
for a UniswapX route, the Permit2 payload to sign.
The chain set
ethereum, base, robinhood, base-sepolia. Which of them a tool will accept
is a per-chain capability flag in the same registry, not a branch in the tool.
agent_usage
Report what the caller's agents spent over a window: one row per agent that spent, most expensive first, with its call count, its credits, and the first and last charge in the window — plus the totals across every agent. Free, and it reads the credit ledger rather than writing to it. Two fields to read carefully: `totalCredits` is the caller's spend across EVERY agent, so it does not change when you filter, and an agent that spent nothing in the window is NOT a row — its absence means zero, not missing. A soft-deleted agent still reports here under the name it had, because a charge belongs to the agent that made it whether or not it is still registered. Refunds do not subtract from a row: only spends count against an agent, and a refunded call that happened still counts as a call.
