get_block_by_number

Read a specific block by its hex block number from the configured chain. Maps to `eth_getBlockByNumber` with a number selector (not a tag like `latest`). Use this for historical lookups where the caller already knows the block number; pair with `get_block_number` to find the head first. Returns the block header and its transactions; pass `fullTransactions: true` to receive full transaction objects instead of hashes.

Input

The tool takes a single JSON object. Every field, its type, and an example are on the generated reference at GET /mcp/tools, under this tool's name.

Calling it

{
  "jsonrpc": "2.0",
  "id": 1,
  "method": "tools/call",
  "params": { "name": "get_block_by_number", "arguments": {} }
}

Put your arguments in place of the empty object. A call that fails comes back as a normal result carrying isError: true and a message naming what went wrong, not as a JSON-RPC protocol error.
